The Dalaoba Gas Storage Reservoir in Northwest Oilfield has entered the stage of gas production and supply guarantee
In early October, the Dalaoba gas storage in Northwest Oilfield transitioned from the summer gas injection stage to the winter gas production and supply guarantee stage, with an annual working gas volume of up to 200 million cubic meters, effectively ensuring winter natural gas supply.
Since last year, in response to the rapid growth of natural gas production in recent years and a large amount of surplus gas in summer, Northwest Oilfield has implemented the "Gas Injection to Improve Recovery Efficiency and Consider Seasonal Peak shaving of Natural Gas" project for the Daluoba condensate field. The gas storage has been expanded and renovated, and it was completed and put into operation in March this year. The annual working gas volume has doubled compared to before, significantly improving the seasonal peak shaving capacity of natural gas. After 10 years of gas injection development practice, the Daluoba condensate gas field has increased condensate oil recovery rate by 10.3%, and daily gas production has reached a new high in nearly 3 years, reaching a daily production of 600000 cubic meters. It is expected that the daily gas production capacity this winter can reach 800000 cubic meters.
Since the beginning of this year, the Dalaoba Gas Storage Reservoir has injected 118 million cubic meters of gas, causing a 4.5 MPa increase in formation pressure and effectively suppressing water invasion. At present, through research and evaluation, technical personnel have proposed multiple adjustment plans such as optimizing injection and production well networks, optimizing single well injection and gas production, to assist in the stable and efficient operation of gas storage.
